Facing a 4,000 teaching position deficit, Chicago Public Schools needed teachers committed to social justice, academic excellence, and meaningful, integrated learning.  Revealing the stories of successful teachers reaching inner-city students, this video provides a moving view of the unique rewards of this work.  In its first season, recruiters reported a five-fold increase in applications.
